I currently have 5–6 mm silicone inserted and am looking into revision surgery because I’m dissatisfied with the shape. He said functional surgery is not necessary, and that he would replace it with silicone of about 3 mm. Since the septal cartilage is not large and looks weak, he would use autologous costal cartilage; perform alar reduction; remove scar tissue if present; lower the nostril rim; and, if necessary, osteotomy is possible. When I mentioned concern about nasolabial folds with alar reduction, he recommended paranasal augmentation with autologous costal cartilage while harvesting the costal cartilage anyway. It would be done under general anesthesia, and the surgery time would be under 3 hours. The AS period is 3 years. The estimate was said to be 8.6 million KRW, but I don’t remember whether this included paranasal augmentation... Is it expensive because it was included? Anyway, if I put down a deposit, it can go down to 8.2 million KRW. The director seemed professional, and it felt like as soon as he looked at my nose, he already had a picture in his head of what to do and how. The director personally edited the expected post-op shape on a tablet and showed it to me. The staff were also kind.
