Surgery consultation for a deviated nose and short nose. The consultant was gentle and kind, so I felt very comfortable. The director also has a personality that tries to accommodate needs as much as possible. As for the consultation, the director said no nasal bone osteotomy, and suggested building up the nasal bridge by grinding autologous costal cartilage, wrapping it in fascia, and placing it. Since I was sick and tired of my nose being crooked, I requested osteotomy, and the answer I received was that if I wanted it that much, they could do it. Also, because I disliked the variability from absorption in the nasal bridge, I requested silicone, and they said they would do that too if I wanted... But judging from their reluctant expression, I feel like if they do it according to my requests, the result may not be satisfactory. On the other hand, if I follow the director’s recommendation of no osteotomy and using costal cartilage for the nasal bridge, I’m still anxious about whether the asymmetry can be corrected, so I’m still holding off on choosing a clinic. Since they are an otolaryngology specialist, I feel trust regarding rhinitis surgery. I remember the rhinitis surgery cost was 1.4 million won, and I think I can get about 1 million won reimbursed.
