Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

A few years ago, I had alar reduction by a quack doctor, and my alae were over-resected. The alar wings were sutured too narrowly, so my nose became pinched and upturned. There’s nothing I can do about the over-resected alae, but I felt like the pinched look would improve just by moving the alar wings outward and re-suturing them, yet every clinic flatly rejected me, saying there is no such surgery. After asking around here and there, this was the last clinic I went to because it was the only place that said it could be fixed. The director looked at my nose and said that “alar lifting + moving the alar wings outward and re-suturing + nostril lowering” would work. It wasn’t just some absurd claim, because he also showed me before-and-after photos of a patient like me whose alae had been over-resected and whose alar wings had been sutured narrowly. I felt relieved because he completely understood why it looked pinched and upturned. I also liked that they offer 3 years of aftercare service. Conclusion: I received “alar lifting + moving the alar wings outward and suturing + nostril lowering,” and my strange nose, which had been pinched and upturned with nostrils shaped like the number 11, became an ordinary nose with round nostrils. Since my nostrils became wider, I can breathe much better too. For reference, one nostril was a retracted nostril, so it did not come down well with nostril lowering, and I paid 300,000 won for anesthesia and received aftercare service 3 times. For a retracted nostril, lowering the nostril is difficult, so I recommend a composite graft of ear skin + ear cartilage rather than just inserting cartilage. They say harvesting ear cartilage hurts a lot and deforms the ear, but I had no pain even on the day of surgery, and the shape of my ear is unchanged. The skin-harvest site is inside the ear, and the suturing is neat, so it doesn’t show. They say if you graft skin, it protrudes inside the nostril like scar tissue and looks like a booger, but it protrudes only slightly, so it is not noticeable. He is truly extremely skilled.
