Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

It’s been one week since revision surgery! Please look at the line + cartilage protrusion...

It has now been one week since my revision surgery. Previously, I had my nasal bridge + nasal tip done, but because I had a bulbous nose, it was not corrected at all, so I had revision surgery. For the nasal bridge silicone, I changed from the thinnest one (the existing one) to one with the same height but just a slightly wider width, and for the nasal tip, they reused the septal cartilage that had been used before and added ear cartilage, raising only the nasal tip a bit. The issue is that before, cartilage inside my nose was protruding slightly, you know? I don’t know whether this happened during my first surgery or whether it had always been there. I lived without paying any attention to it at all ㅠㅠ Because I had local anesthesia during the surgery, I was able to talk with the director, and the director said they tried to remove the cartilage during surgery, but doing that might weaken the support, so they would not remove it separately. ㅠ I was half-asleep and said something like, it’s not as if someone is going to look under my nose, and as long as it doesn’t show from the outside, it’s fine. Today, after removing the stitches and splint, it seemed a bit more protruded than before? ㅠㅠㅠㅠ It’s not very noticeable, but from below, it is visible. Even though it was a revision surgery under local anesthesia, I am the type who gets a lot of swelling and bruising, so I’m very swollen right now. Will it reduce a little once the swelling goes down? I’m not sure whether this is swelling + cartilage, scar tissue + cartilage, or just entirely cartilage ㅠㅠ

And please also take a look at my nose line! The glabella area (above the bruised part on the nasal bridge) is extremely swollen, so I was told that area will go down a lot, and there is also some swelling at the nasal tip.... Personally, I’m satisfied with the line and shape! I didn’t want a big change from my original nose; I just wanted improvement of the bulbous nose, haha. Thank you for reading! Everyone, have a good day.
