At the hospitals I visited early on, maybe because of surgery schedules, I met people who were either blunt or seemed eager to wrap things up quickly. Without realizing it, I developed a habit of quickly asking anything I was curious about and trying to show photos right away. When I was looking through photos to show Dr. Yoon quickly, he said, "Please take your time and show me as many as you'd like~" (So relaxing.. thank you..)
I've been to quite a few hospitals, and among the kind and good directors, I think he's in my top 3 What felt a bit different was that he made an effort to understand the patient's needs precisely, explained all the way to the end what could and could not be done so the patient would understand, and above all, he doesn't seem to take surgery lightly.... There were others who were kind and spoke carefully about my nose too, but Dr. Yoon somehow gives the feeling that he would operate on my nose very delicately and with great care... If I remember correctly, the director said he himself was sensitive? meticulous? I am also really picky, so I think I would get along well with him, haha
Honestly, I already had a design in mind, so I kept another hospital in mind and went to Miho almost at the end, but I kept thinking I wanted to entrust it to Dr. Yoon. What I still worry about is the design side, though. Honestly, even if I go to a hospital with the design I want, if my nose doesn't suit it, that design can't be done. I think maybe it's right to leave it to someone like Dr. Yoon, who thinks about the patient's nose. That is my biggest concern for real...... (Of course Dr. Yoon's design is beautiful too, but if you look at the reviews, they vary so much from person to person that I can't imagine how my nose would turn out.. is it really that case-by-case?)
I haven't decided yet, but if you're worried like I am, I really hope you go consult at Miho too. The managers there were really honest and seem like good people. Functional nose surgery is possible, but other places didn't explain the functional procedures in detail at all, while here they honestly told me what kinds there are and what is and isn't covered by insurance well.
Is it okay to leave such a long review? A really honest review. And among the 5.45 million won surgery cost, some 1.05 million won was covered by insurance, so the actual amount was in the 4 million range But my nose is small and upturned, so wherever I went, it seemed to be in the mid-4 million range.
