I did a lot of in-person consultations at other hospitals too, but they recommended autologous costal cartilage. There were a lot of people in consultation, so even though I had an appointment there was still a waiting time. The consultation director had a take-it-and-pay-today kind of attitude, which was a bit uncomfortable. When I said I wasn't going to use rib cartilage, they suddenly changed the surgery method, saying it looked like it would have to be septal cartilage. They did give me a pretty eye line.
