Eye Surgery Considerations

Miho Review

They even booked a consultation for me when I made the appointment just two days in advance. But the day before, they called and asked if another time would be okay, requesting a change. Of course I said it wouldn’t work, and they immediately said okay and hung up. Why did they call...? I already felt uneasy before going. I consulted with Director Yoon Seok-ho. He’s the head director, so the consultation fee was 10,000 won. As soon as I arrived, they took a CT scan, then I had a consultation with the manager, waited about 5 minutes, and then had a consultation with the director. I have a deviated septum, nasal valve issues, and rhinitis, but since they’re not severe, functional nose surgery was optional. However, they said it’s better to do everything at once when opening the nose, so they recommended functional nose surgery. Because they took a CT scan, the consultation felt professional and I trusted it, but it was a minus that they still recommended functional nose surgery even though my rhinitis wasn’t serious enough for it. For aesthetics, they quoted a 3D silicone bridge and either septal cartilage or donated rib cartilage for the tip. During the cost consultation with the manager, they kept pushing functional nose surgery, saying it would be much cheaper if I did that too. The price was average if I included functional nose surgery, but if I only did the cosmetic part, it was a bit high. When I said I’d heard that insurance is being very strict about reimbursing functional nose surgery these days and that many people can’t get reimbursed, they said that would never happen, but I didn’t really trust it.. Also, the manager’s eyes and tone felt a bit off, which made me uncomfortable The director here was professional and good, but they pushed functional nose surgery too much, so it didn’t suit me, and I passed right after the consultation.
