I had surgery with a friend 7 years ago. My friend had buried sutures, so there were no scars at all, and since I had a lot of tissue on my eyelids, I had the incision method. The swelling lasted a really long time, about a year, but the double eyelid never fully formed lol. The lengths of the double eyelids on both sides are uneven.. there are scars, though... When I went to another hospital to get revision surgery, they said that this part wouldn't have formed a line anyway, so I probably didn't even need to be cut with a scalpel.
