Pop review

I had two consultations at Pop Plastic Surgery with different directors. First of all, the first director wasn’t great. They asked if I had a designated doctor, and I said no before going, but they recommended a doctor who had no procedure reviews at all on Babitalk. The consultation was thorough, and the doctor explained the surgical method very diligently, but I just... didn’t like it, so I changed. The consultant kept recommending other things: do epicanthoplasty, do lowering canthoplasty... The first director also kept recommending epicanthoplasty. I kept saying I didn’t want lowering canthoplasty, and I had said it last time too, but they still said posterior canthoplasty and lowering canthoplasty should be done together, and that a little epicanthoplasty would look pretty... They were kind, but because they kept recommending other things, I didn’t like it that much. Then Director Kwak Jeong-hwa came in, and she did not recommend either epicanthoplasty or lowering canthoplasty. She said if I did epicanthoplasty, my eyes would definitely look too close together and I would regret it, so I decided not to do that (other hospitals also all didn’t recommend it). The issue was whether to do only posterior canthoplasty or do it together with lowering canthoplasty. Since my lower eyelashes have a slight tendency to grow inward, she said there is a chance of entropion if I do lowering canthoplasty, so she recommended doing only posterior canthoplasty. She also said she does not recommend epicanthoplasty enough to take that risk, because if I open the inner corners and don’t like it, restoring them could make the eyes even smaller. Since she said lowering canthoplasty also carries a risk of entropion and that only posterior canthoplasty would be better, I trusted her a bit more. Compared with the previous director, she explained only what was necessary and explained the side effects. For aftercare, it’s one year, and if I don’t like the shape, they said they only charge an additional anesthesia fee. When I went around to other hospitals, I kept being recommended posterior + lowering canthoplasty, but here they said I should absolutely do only posterior canthoplasty, so I felt they were sincere.
