Eye Surgery Reviews

Community review

I made an appointment with Director Kim Jin-tae specifically and went in. I waited about 30-40 minutes for the director's consultation, and before that I consulted with the manager. She wasn't the loud type like Ralral, but was very calm and straightforward. She told me to close my eyes, so I did, and she said my eyes didn't close slightly. I had consultations at 6 places, and this was the second clinic that said my eyes didn't close. And it was the manager who said it.. She also said that after double eyelid surgery, my eyes might close even less. She was the first to inform me about side effects, asked about my desired surgical method and line, and that was it (non-incisional adhesion, in-out line). The director's consultation was calm and he only said exactly what was necessary. (No canthoplasty needed, let's do non-incisional adhesion, my eye length is on the long side, he measured my double eyelid length with a ruler. I originally have a double eyelid on one side, and after measuring it, he said it wasn't a low double eyelid, and that we could proceed with this line.) Since I live outside Seoul, I wanted same-day surgery, and thankfully the manager said it was possible, so I had surgery that day. I also asked about the event price; originally you apply through the app and they contact you, but they just gave me the event price (original price 1.3 million won). I arrived 30 minutes before surgery, washed my face, changed into a gown, and had a consultation with the director. Before designing, I said my original double eyelid seemed to get swallowed up, so I wanted to raise the line by about 1 mm, but he talked me out of it, saying my original line was on the high side and that after double eyelid surgery it would be different from the current line, and if we did that it might come undone (it was originally 10.5 mm). Still, he measured and held the line for me, but it was too high, so I listened to the director. He was extremely meticulous with the design. He kept measuring with a ruler, matching symmetry, having me close and open my eyes, holding the line, drawing it again, and even checked again on the operating table. Subjectively, he drew the line extremely carefully for about 15-20 minutes. When I said I was so nervous, the director and nurses told me not to be nervous and that it was okay. They were kind. Including preparation time and surgery, it took 50 minutes. On day 6 after surgery, I went to the clinic, got a swelling laser treatment, and the director came to check my progress. He told me again how many millimeters it was, checked whether the line was set well and whether the fixation strength was okay, and said it turned out well. I'm satisfied.
