I'm currently going around getting lots of consultations because of eye correction revision surgery, and I ended up here too. The doctor was kind and nice, but they offered a different opinion from the places I'd been to so far. They said, 'It looks like just one eye might be enough? If Hare's law happens (they explained that doesn't apply to everyone), then you can just do the other side later!' That made me a bit uneasy If you only do one side, Hare's phenomenon happens, and if after surgery the other side drops and you later do the other side, what if the side that was done first drops again... Right now my right eye needs surgery, and my left eye is fine, so it's true that I don't want to touch it... Also, at other hospitals they touched my eyes to assess the line or whatever, but here they didn't touch my eyes even once during the consultation. Cost is part of it too, and if I end up needing to do the other side again, the effort involved worries me a little, so I'm torn
