I had surgery on the 29th, and it has already been 2 weeks-!
Until day 6, just like in the review I wrote before, it was truly a battle with swelling.... On days 4-5, while looking at other people’s week-1 review photos, I doubted, ‘Can facial swelling really go down that much by day 7??’ But really, when I went to get my stitches removed on day 7, I had just escaped from the bulldog-like swollen face. But I think the Venocin/Tripline I took around day 5 were really effective, I could not take Bruna because nearby pharmacies did not have it, but I have been taking it for 3 days from day 11 until now, and the bruising has faded a lot too. (I had severe bruises in 3-4 places.) All 3 medicines are quite inexpensive, so I recommend them recommend them!!
As for pain~ I wonder if the nerve sensation is trying to come back, because sometimes I get tingling, stabbing pains... But it is not very painful, and it is painful in a way I can easily tolerate-!
For swelling, from about day 13, I think I could live without a mask; I only have slight residual swelling on both cheeks. I went to get the intraoral stitches removed on day 11, and the director checked my progress then. They said there is still swelling around the cheekbones too, but maybe because the originally protruding area was pushed inward, that swelling did not really bother me. Only the cheek area swelling is a bit bothersome compared with before? That is about it.
As for satisfaction with the line, maybe because my first surgery was completely screwed up, honestly I like this surgery right now. I do not know how my facial line may change once all the swelling goes down, but right now it is good- both the side cheekbones and the 45-degree cheekbones have gone in, and when I touch around the orbital bone line, it feels like the cheekbone has gone in well too.
For eating, it still hurts if I chew things like kimchi cabbage, so I mostly eat porridge-like foods. (I can eat things like boiled shrimp.) My mouth opens about 2.5 fingers wide. They told me to carefully do a lot of mouth-opening stretching.
What changed between before surgery and now at week 2 is: 1. The protruding cheekbones are gone 2. A little bruising remains 3. There is slight swelling on both cheeks 4. My mouth opens slightly less 5. One side of my cheekbone keeps aching 6. I cannot chew food well

The hospital where I had surgery is famous, but maybe because there are not many surgery reviews and such, I received a lot of private messages-! Looking at the messages people sent, even just cheekbone surgery seemed to be on the expensive side. Since mine was revision surgery, it would have been expensive anywhere else anyway, and I had heard that revision surgery costs double, so I did not feel, ‘Ah, this place is really expensive,’ about the surgery cost. After setting the surgery date, I was curious how much other places cost, so I called ㄱㄹㅎ and asked roughly about revision surgery costs, and there was not that big of a difference. So in my replies to messages, if someone said, ‘If this is your first surgery,’ I mostly told them that at that price I would not do it at the hospital where I did mine... You know the hospitals that a lot of people here go to for consultations- I do not know exactly how much other places are, but I think you could get similar results at a more reasonable price range, and ‘if it is revision surgery,’ I do not need to go as far as recommending it, but it is also not to the point where I would say, ‘Do not get surgery here.’ It is about that level^^;
