I had double eyelid surgery with the buried- stitch method and also had lateral canthoplasty 4 years ago. They also recommended epicanthoplasty, but my eyes already sit a little close together, so I did not do it because I was worried they would look even closer. I asked them to make my eyes extremely big, but they did not make them that way and I ended up with natural double eyelids. I was very worried the lateral canthoplasty would reopen, so I searched hard for a hospital that performs a method that does not reattach. It still seems not to have reattached! In particular, before surgery the outer corner positions were slightly asymmetric on both sides, and they corrected that part well. My eyes are a little smaller than when the swelling was present, but at first it was a bit excessive, so I do not think I could have lived like that, and now they seem natural! Someone around me even said it was the first time they had seen double eyelid surgery look so natural and not obvious! Even if the buried stitch comes loose and I need surgery again, I want to do it at Jio.
