When I was in my first year of high school, I really wanted double-eyelid surgery, so I begged and begged my mom and rashly got it done at a clinic where my mom’s friend worked as a coordinator? nurse? At the time, the skin around my eyes was sagging because of double-eyelid glue, so I had the surgery through a partial incision, but it didn’t even last a year and came undone. The aftercare was okay, but the doctor who had done my consultation wasn’t the one who performed the surgery; that person’s father did it.
