Since I was looking into jaw contouring, I shared the areas that stress me out and the opinions of doctors at the hospitals where I had consultations so far. Interestingly, opinions about my jaw were split half and half between it is retruded or it should not be set back. I feel like I’m going to become indecisive, but that’s something I’ll decide again later anyway, and in any case, the doctor even used their hands to show what kind of face I could expect after surgery and explained while drawing on the monitor too. Honestly, since facial contouring has to be considered carefully, I’ll be going to consultations at other hospitals as well, but I think this consultation will become my standard. Rather than deciding just because they’re kind, the doctor and my needs have to match, and above all, it has to be safe. So even if it’s bothersome, I think it’s good to go around and consult a lot like I did.
