I went for a consultation because I was suffering from complications after having surgery for a contracture nose at another hospital. The doctor said the pain in my nose was because the septum was sharply irritating the skin. He said that if I have revision surgery, they would replace it with ear cartilage. My contracture was quite severe, so I'm skeptical about whether it can really be done with only ear cartilage. It hasn't been 6 months yet, so I'm still thinking about it.
