Autologous rib cartilage revision rhinoplasty review

Revision rhinoplasty review 💕 I am recovering after replacing the implant! I had been deliberating over my nose shape for a long time because I was not satisfied with it, and eventually decided to have revision rhinoplasty. This time, I had the implant replaced. I was excited before surgery, but I was also really worried because it was revision surgery. Immediately after surgery, the swelling was more severe than expected, especially between the eyebrows and along the nasal bridge, which became very swollen and looked so unfamiliar every time I looked in the mirror My whole nose was swollen, and the tip also looked higher than I had imagined, so I worried about what would happen if the swelling went down and it stayed that way. There was quite a bit of pain early on, and as time passed, the swelling in other areas gradually subsided, but the swelling and bruising around the bridge seemed to last especially long, so I worried a lot. As the swelling gradually decreased and the pain disappeared, I finally felt somewhat relieved. My biggest concern was that the tip looked too high. I keep comparing photos from immediately after surgery with how it looks now to see whether it will become more natural as the swelling decreases further haha. I do not consider this the final shape yet and plan to wait a little longer. Revision surgery comes with many things to worry about during recovery, and I think you become sensitive to even small changes. I am looking forward to seeing how naturally the tip will settle as the swelling continues to decrease! Is anyone else who had revision rhinoplasty worried about swelling or the height of the tip? I would appreciate it if you could share your experiences of how natural it became over time 🥹💕
