I thought it might not be bad to have my first surgery at a hospital famous for revision surgery, so I went for a consultation. They did not take a CT scan, and the consultation involved touching my nose or having me lie on the operating-room chair while they looked at my nose overall. The director personally took the photos and did the Photoshop simulation. I strongly got the impression that safety was the top priority, and they did not recommend excessive surgery, so it was similar to what I had in mind. The consultation was very long and detailed, so I recommend going at least once. What I did not understand was that they said they would open the nose during surgery and then decide whether to use autologous costal cartilage or not... but the price was the same even if they did not use autologous costal cartilage And they firmly said they would not show the CCTV either, so that felt a bit off.
