Double eyelid surgery review after one week
I wrote this yesterday, but I saw something like redness around my eyes and got upset. I didn’t want to give wrong information, so I deleted the post. But when I woke up this morning, it was all gone, and after putting on makeup and using an eyelash curler, my eyes looked so ridiculously gorgeous that I felt sorry to the director, so I’m writing this again.. lol.. lol First of all, I’m preparing for a career that involves being on broadcast, so I went around to 24 places just for my eyes. It was also a revision surgery, and since the most important thing was finding a place that was skilled regardless of cost, I swept through Apgujeong, Gangnam, and Sinsa for 4 months. But everyone said it would look strange if I did more, and they discouraged revision epicanthoplasty (even though, to me, my eyes needed it). They either only recommended incisional ptosis correction or additionally recommended lateral and lower canthoplasty. Out of 24 places, maybe 4? 5? recommended epicanthoplasty. Even at those places, the doctors were clearly thinking really hard, like “Ah~~~ should we do it or not?” Among them, only the chief director at the place I choseㅠ said, “You need epicanthoplasty?” and told me to trust him.. He said these are eyes that need it. He said he is the kind of person who hates doing a lot of epicanthoplasty more than anything, but that this one needed it lol. He even worried about my eyelashes being burned off and gone, kindly paid attention to the fact that I was getting surgery because of my career, and told me to carefully find out whether seniors in that field had done an in-fold or an in-out fold. He even looked into where to get other areas done and which directors were goodㅠㅠ
I trusted the director, who was confident and warm, and had it done here. It’s day 7 after epicanthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, and incisional ptosis correction.. It was a huge successㅠㅠ. On the day of surgery, I had a design consultation with the director alone for about 15–20 minutes. The first design was in the consultation room, the second design was in the treatment room, and the final design was in the operating room. I had severe epicanthoplasty asymmetry and scarring (other hospital directors said they couldn’t fix this), so I just hoped the symmetry would at least be improved. But it was opened sharply without being excessive, and the line came out beautifully, exactly like the in-out line I showed him. The lateral canthoplasty!!!!! Seriouslyㅜㅜ what is this director’s sense.. I was extremely picky and said I wanted my existing eye shape to look longer without the outer corners drooping, while matching the ratio of iris to sclera. He pulled out the outer corners beautifully, exactly up to just before the red flesh would showㅠㅜㅜㅜ My eyes became twice as big.. How successful was it? A consultation manager I went to for a nose consultation at another hospital asked why my eyes were so pretty on day 5 even though they were swollen, and wrote down the director’s hospital name and information lol My friends also all say it was successful.. I want to upload before-and-after photos, but because I’m preparing for my career, I can’t share photos..ㅜㅜ The cost is not kind at all because he is the chief director,,^^ But in terms of skill, you really can trust him and go for it.. Really, director.. When I came in for my day-7 follow-up, you even worried about my hallux valgus.. When I said you were the best and that I loved it so much, you coolly pretended not to hear and left.. Thank you so much...
