It has been one month. In my previous review, I said the numbness was severe, but now it has improved to the point where it does not feel numb unless I pay attention to it to some extent. That does not mean there is no numbness at all. Until week 3, it tingled severely, and it was so uncomfortable and frustrating that I could not sleep. But exactly at week 4, if I do not focus on my jaw, I barely notice whether it is numb. Sensation has not returned yet in my lower right jaw and lips, but everything else has come back. When I wash my face, it still hurts as if it is bruised, and the yellow bruise on my cheekbone is still there. Sadly, I can still only fit about three fingers into my mouth.. Eating is easier than before, but my mouth still does not open well, so I am still forcing food in. When I yawn, my cheekbone hurts slightly. Be careful with your cheekbones. In terms of appearance, all the major swelling has gone down, and only minor swelling remains. It does show a little, but depending on how I look at it, it seems pretty, and depending on how I look at it, it feels like the swelling is severe.
