Eye Surgery Considerations

Cookie Community Review

I was debating which area to operate on first among the nose, facial contouring, and eyes, but I had always been very stressed about my wide cheekbones and square jaw, so I decided that if I was going to have surgery first anyway, I should start with the major surgery. It has been about a week since I had two types of facial contouring surgery.

Days 1~3 I think this period was the hardest, more than I expected.

On the day of surgery, I was admitted to the hospital, but I’m not sure in what state of mind I was lying there, falling asleep, or anything... I was discharged early in the morning and came home, and I think I just felt endlessly exhausted..

And on day 3, I went to the hospital, received dressing care, and got a swelling laser treatment. Yesterday, I visited for my one-week progress check and received the same care I had on day 3.

I have to go next week to have the stitches removed, and opening my mouth is still very difficult, but still, the major swelling has gone down much more than I expected. My facial contour also seems to have come out naturally in the doll-like line I wanted, and my face size has become much smaller, so I’m satisfied.

They say the swelling will continue to go down for 6 months to 1 year, so I’m spending my days looking forward to seeing how much smaller my face will become from here.
