Everything was good. The clinic was much smaller than I expected, but clean, and I went straight into the consultation with no wait at all. I talked with the doctor for a full hour. He had the basic courtesy and I liked that he gave blunt, fact-based feedback. He clearly pointed out only the parts that needed to be addressed, saying things like, “Don’t touch the good parts” and “Improve the bad parts.” For the two-part procedure, it came to 9.9 million won, and if you add a third part, it goes into the 10-million-won range. The reason I didn’t choose it was simply my expectations for surgery.. It seemed like the doctor has a style and a type of result he prefers. He doesn’t really work on the cheekbones and instead focuses on shaving the jaw and advancing the chin. It’s a huge, once-in-a-lifetime surgery, and even if I were to do it, I think my own opinion matters most, so although it was disappointing, I decided not to go ahead.
