I had my double-eyelid incision revision surgery in 2020. Honestly, I barely remember the price. It was around that range.
My eye-opening strength was weak, so even with my existing buried double eyelids, my eyes still looked sleepy. At other places, there were even two clinics that refused me and told me to get a forehead lift, because my eyelid space was so narrow, so I kept looking into options for keeping the same line or lowering it a bit, and since Director Shim is famous for revision eye surgery, I went for a consultation.
When I first went in to see the doctor, they told me I didn’t really need revision surgery and sent me off. So as I was about to leave and was saying goodbye, they suddenly said, “Huh? You don’t open your eyes well,” and the consultation restarted. Since my current line wasn’t bad, they said they would do the incision along the same line and that the line would go deeper than it is now. I brought up canthoplasty because I wanted my eyes to look bigger, but they said I didn’t need it and seemed to really dislike that surgery, so I ended up only getting incision double-eyelid surgery.
I had local anesthesia and got surgery while talking with the doctor about what was needed for the procedure (open your eyes, this side was bound tightly.. and so on).
The result turned out exactly as they said, so my eyes look clearer and I’m happy. To a dull person, it might not even seem like much changed, because the good parts I already had (the line) were kept, while the slightly lacking part (depth) was improved, so I’m extremely satisfied.
After the consultation, once I became their patient, they seemed to take even better care of me, almost like a tsundere. They also took good care of me after stitch removal and during the follow-up process, so I’m really happy. I’m still cheering the doctor on by watching their videos on YouTube~
