As I got into my 40s, I started feeling like my eyelids were drooping all the time, so I thought I needed to do something about my eyes. I searched hospitals and narrowed it down to a few that were visited by both middle-aged patients, including those considering eye plastic surgery, and younger people as well, and this hospital was one of them. When I arrived and was parking, the process was a bit difficult, and the staff directing me was a little awkward, so at first I felt pretty bad. But as soon as I got to the hospital, I was able to consult with the head doctor without much waiting. He evaluated my eyes in detail and gave three examples of possible surgeries, then told me which one he thought would be the best. Other places consulted without taking off the mask, but here he was the only one who asked me to take it off and then talked about facial asymmetry and whether it matched my eyes. From what I learned through café communities, he seems to often mention facial asymmetry during consultations. He also asked me to check whether I had dry eyes, and when I mentioned concerns about uneven eyes or scars, he said there was no need to think about it too seriously, and mentioned that he had also done eye-related surgeries for his wife as she got older and that things were fine. I went with my husband, and after the consultation he said the explanation from this hospital was the best, so I was leaning toward it, but I’m still undecided because I’m worried about plastic surgery complications.
