For my first surgery, I had a closed reduction to align the bones because of a nasal bone osteotomy, and after that my nose became very crooked and drooped a lot.
For my second surgery, I had rhinoplasty with hump osteotomy, septal cartilage, and a nasal tip extension support graft. But after the second surgery, my nose became blocked.
For my third surgery, I had spreader grafting for the nasal valve using septal cartilage, but afterward, a perforation developed in the area where the septal cartilage was harvested, and my nasal obstruction actually got worse.. The hospital is basically saying they do not know the reason for the nasal obstruction.
I have suffered so much because of my nose for years. It is really hard.. I am planning a fourth surgery again. I feel like I have to resolve the nasal obstruction somehow.. If anyone knows a reconstruction hospital that is good at resolving structural nasal obstruction after rhinoplasty, please recommend one. Also, during this revision surgery, I am thinking of removing all things like the septal support graft. I am worried that if I remove it, the nose might collapse a lot.
