Somehow it has already been about 4 years since I had rhinoplasty. As for the shape, my nostrils were visible and my nose was round and spread out, so I wanted to make the nostrils less visible, but they couldn’t really do that. Instead, they made the nostrils longer toward the front so the spread-out nose would look smaller. I didn’t have alar reduction, but thinking about it now, I feel like it would have been better if I had done alar reduction too. I had silicone + ear cartilage, and the downsides are that my nose gets a bit red in winter, I can’t make a pig nose, and there’s a slight stitch scar under my nose. I’m not 100% satisfied, but there haven’t been any major side effects.. and my complex was resolved, so I’m satisfied.
