In the past, I had my double eyelids set in an in-out line, but I was stressed because the inner corner of my right eye looked thick. At the time, the medial canthoplasty also felt somewhat overcorrected, and a lot of the lacrimal caruncle was visible, so this time I went from the provinces to Seoul for consultations for double eyelid revision surgery and medial canthoplasty restoration. I went to two places. One place suggested doing the double eyelid line and medial canthoplasty restoration the way I wanted, and the other said my double eyelid line was pretty and that if my concern was the inner corner of the eye, they would match the line as similarly as possible during medial canthoplasty reconstruction. Not long after surgery, it didn’t look very different, but as time passed and the swelling went down, my eyes definitely looked softer than before and the lines became more even. Because I didn’t know much about plastic surgery, I used to think, “I don’t like this, so I should do this, I should do that,” but after going around to many consultations, I think the best hospital is one that helps me achieve the result I want with the minimal amount of plastic surgery.
