I had my first surgery here! It brings back memories haha
When I had the consultation, the doctor personally drew diagrams and explained everything to me. Even though I was very guarded because it was my first cosmetic procedure, they still asked in detail about the line I wanted and handled it well. They noticed that my forehead wrinkles appeared when I opened my eyes and said I should also get ptosis correction so the double eyelid line would sit nicely. Since I was already getting an incision because of fat removal, I decided to do ptosis correction as well. The price was also the cheapest among the hospitals I consulted because a university student discount and an event discount happened to overlap at the time lol I paid 880,000 won for incision plus ptosis correction!
I decided on an in-out line, and because it was in-out, they said they would make it a little thicker, more like an outer line, to prevent it from loosening. I am naturally a bit straightforward, so I quickly set the surgery date and went in. They played music during the surgery, and I still remember asking them to change the song while I was under anesthesia lol lol They really helped me stay calm during surgery, and honestly because I was anesthetized I do not really know the process well. It smelled like squid being grilled...?
When I woke up, the surgery was already over, so I put on a cap and a mask and went straight home. There was no pain. Even after the anesthesia wore off, it was just a slight stinging feeling? I was given an ice pack? something shaped like an eye mask, and they helped me manage the swelling while I kept records on an app. A friend recommended it, saying everyone uses it now as standard, and watching the swelling go down became a small daily joy for me... T_T
I did not drink pumpkin juice, but I ate things like braised chicken feet and tteokbokki, so I think the swelling went down a bit late haha. Actually, now all the swelling is gone and I am extremely satisfied with the line. I live in Seoul now, but if I were to get another cosmetic procedure somewhere else, I would still come here again. If I did not say anything first, people would not know I had double eyelid surgery lol. The doctor is the best.
