From here on, not a single line of this is a lie, and I’m writing it for the public good.
After looking at the doctor’s blog and Q&A site, I went earlier this year with very high expectations for osteotomy reconstruction and nose revision surgery, but the doctor showed absolutely no empathy or understanding of my needs and didn’t even properly look at my face or nose. There was no palpation either. The attitude during the consultation was so bad that I felt embarrassed and flustered.
And... from Naver Q&A onward, they kept saying that for osteotomy reconstruction you absolutely had to do spreader grafting, as if it were mandatory...
If I hadn’t gone to the revision hospital this time, I would have believed the doctor and gone somewhere else to get a spreader graft surgery I didn’t even need.
There seem to be several possible approaches to osteotomy reconstruction depending on the patient’s condition, but I don’t think they know much about osteotomy reconstruction.
I succeeded in my osteotomy reconstruction this time at another revision-specialized hospital without doing spreader grafting. (For reference, it is not the ENT specialist hospital that comes up when you search for osteotomy reconstruction.) From the examination to the consultation, the quality was completely different.
Still, thanks to their refusal to operate, I was able to find a truly skilled doctor, and because I succeeded in osteotomy reconstruction without spreader grafting, I’m finally able to live a normal life now (it’ll be almost two months soon, and everything is fine).
Thank you again for refusing to operate. Thanks to that, I succeeded in my revision surgery.
As written above, because the doctor refused to operate, I could not get a price estimate consultation. Not knowing what to do, I directly asked this site and was told to enter the basic price for this case, so I listed 300.
