Before surgery, my cheekbones and square jaw were so large that I often covered them with my hair or a maskㅠㅠ Even though facial contouring is really risky, it was a surgery I desperately needed, so I think I studied by searching all over the internet ㅠㅠ After gathering some information, I went to consultations and chose a hospital, but even until the day before surgery I kept wondering, should I not do it... Then I just thought, whatever, and lay down on the operating table, and now it’s already been 1 month!
Week 1 - On the day of surgery.. it was bearable. I was hospitalized and I think I mostly just sleptㅠ But after about 3 days, my face swelled up like a balloon, so it was hard to sleep and even eating porridge was so hard ㅠ I went to the hospital for care, lay down at home, slept, and repeated that endlesslyㅠ
Week 2 - Compared to week 1, I really felt like I could live again. Washing my hair and sleeping got a bit easier too, but there wasn’t really anything I could eat, so I felt so sadㅠㅠㅠ Because I couldn’t eatㅠㅠ I was hungry ㅠㅠ Even during week 2, I went to the hospital and kept receiving care and doing warm compresses, and the face that had been so round started getting smaller.
Week 3 - My family hehe was surprised at first because there was a lot of swelling, but around week 3, once a lot of the swelling went down, they were even more surprised, saying my face shape really changed. When I looked in the mirror too, I saw that the bones that had been wide and protruding had become smoother, and I was so surprised hehe!! I think I took photos every single day.
Week 4 - I can feel the swelling going down every week hehe. Eating has improved a lot compared to the beginning, and I’m living like a normal person now hehe. I think that first week is the hardest period, phew ㅠㅠ I took a lot of photos to see my face shape changing every day, and I thought people might be curious about how much swelling there is at 1 month, so I’m leaving just the before-and-after face shape photos hehe.
I wrote this as my thoughts flowed, so it got a bit long! Anyway, I hope there’s information here that helps people getting facial contouring..!!! hehe I’ll post again when more swelling goes down!
The photos above are before, and the ones below were taken this week~~
