Review on day 7 after three types of facial contouring surgery!

Hello, I really never thought I’d be writing a plastic surgery review in a cafe lol I’m honestly not the type to write things like this because I find it bothersome, but after seeing my day-7 progress, I feel a bit relieved and wanted to share information, so I’m posting this.

To briefly tell the story, my facial contour wasn’t especially prominent or extremely large, but I was always concerned about my broad-looking face shape and what should I call it, the width of the sides of my face? I was worried because that width was broad. That’s why I had the surgery, but honestly, with facial contouring surgery, there was definitely a somewhat impulsive side to my decision. I had concerns about my face shape, but I didn’t want to take on the level of risk of shaving down bone.

After one thing and another, I had consultations at about four places. And then I ended up having surgery. First, the reason I chose this hospital was the director’s honest and easygoing manner, and after the consultation, I immediately felt I could trust this person enough to entrust myself to them. At other hospitals, even after consultations, I felt a bit unsure...

On day 1 after surgery, it was honestly so hard that I regretted having the surgeryㅠㅠ I think that pain lasted about 1-3 days. From around day 4, it became a little more bearable.. For meals, I mainly had liquid foods. Sleeping while sitting was really difficult. The posture was uncomfortable too.. The swelling is really severe. I looked like a pufferfish and didn’t want to look in the mirror lol

After that, I ate things like castella bread, porridge, steamed egg, and tofu.

And finally, day 7, the day to remove the stitches, came. It didn’t hurt as much as I expected.. It does sting a bit. The swelling is still there. As of today, I’ve received swelling treatment about 3 times. But after eating, I swept around inside my mouth with my tongueㅠㅠ and they said the upper stitches had come undone. They stitched it again, about three stitches.. I was really nervous, but after they gave me an anesthetic injection, I didn’t feel anything..

After receiving treatment like this, I had a consultation with the director while looking at the post-op CT images. I felt really relieved.!!

After surgery, since there wasn’t much to do, I looked up all kinds of side effect reviews online and worried a lot. There was absolutely none of the secondary angle I had worried about, or nonunion (though this one needs to be watched a bit longer)!! They also corrected the asymmetry, and my cheekbones went in noticeably. Even to the eyes of a non-doctor, the surgery looked cleanly and well done.

I’m so curious and excited to see how I’ll look after the swelling goes down. Right now the swelling is so severe that I look like a pufferfishㅜㅜ .. Although I wrote this review positively, it’s only day 7, and I hope you know this is absolutely not a surgery to take lightly. As for cheek sagging, I had the surgery knowing I would have to manage it for life...

Anyway, I’ll end the post here. If you have any questions, please leave a comment haha
