A lot of people go there because they do many procedures, not just surgery. That made it feel like someone who actually needed surgery would have to wait a long time.
There were lots of people in the waiting room, and one person even complained to a coordinator about why it was taking so long.
After waiting about 20 minutes, thankfully I was able to get a consultation. The order was: manager consultation - doctor consultation - manager consultation.
The doctor seemed very busy and looked tired.
I felt a little put off, but the next consultation with the manager made me feel much better.
It was my last place to visit, and when I said that, they seemed unwilling to lose me and became very proactive, which I appreciated.
Even though it was the chief surgeon’s operation so there was no discount, they said they would give me some discount anyway.
They also took a small reservation deposit and promised to refund 100% even if I changed my mind.
Usually if a surgeon lacks skill, the staff don’t show that kind of confidence, so it was unexpected, and I left a deposit.
It was a hospital with a very clear divide between the bad impression and the good impression, but honestly, if the surgery turns out well, it doesn’t matter that the doctor looked exhausted or that the wait was long,
so I’m trying to think positively.
