Honestly, I can’t really remember the amount. But I think it was in the one-million-won to mid-range area. The director wasn’t especially kind, but they’re said to be good at lower-eyelid surgery, so I chose them based on the director alone. During the consultation, the director said that if I only did lower-eyelid repositioning, it could look flat, so I should keep that in mind. They also recommended fat grafting, but I was scared of fat grafting so I didn’t do it. But even though I only did lower-eyelid surgery, I was extremely, extremely satisfied. Still, the aftercare? Or whatever you’d call it, there was no follow-up from the director after the surgery, which was very disappointing. Lower-eyelid surgery may seem like a simple procedure, but from the perspective of someone who actually had it done, it is not simple at all During recovery I cried blood and was scared, so I asked the consultation manager, and they said that could happen normally. I was a little scared, but I waited for time to pass. And now it’s been about a year and a half. During recovery I was genuinely depressed because of my swollen face, but now I’m so satisfied with the results and I understand what they meant by it possibly looking flat, but in conclusion this is a surgery I 100% recommend. They really do seem to be good at lower-eyelid surgery. I’m still satisfied even now, a year later. However, people who care a lot about aftercare may feel disappointed! And something else I remember is that on the day of surgery, when a staff member explained the risks or side effects of the surgery, it felt like they were saying all side effects are your responsibility, there’s nothing we can do, do it or don’t do it? It was scary. For a moment I even thought, ah, should I not do it? This is the kind of hospital where you have to go only by the results.
