Even though I had a pronounced double eyelid, when I took photos, far from looking like I had double eyelids, they often looked like monolids. Also, because the space between my eyes was narrow, I couldn’t make the double eyelids larger, so I was stressed. I went for a consultation and told the director, and they said the double eyelid itself wasn’t the problem and recommended a sub-brow lift. They said it’s a surgery that makes the double-eyelid line clearer.
So I decided to get the surgery, and I liked that the surgery time, including anesthesia time, was less than even 1 hour. Toward the end, I wrapped things up while talking with Director Ha Sang-wook, and he made me feel so comfortable and told fun stories too, so I don’t think I was scared haha
I think the recovery period took about 5 days, and after that, there was no issue with daily life. I think the minor swelling lasted 1-2 months, but it was swelling that people who didn’t know me wouldn’t notice. I’m now 4 months post-op, and I’m so, so satisfied. It feels like I’m living a new life haha!!
