Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

6 Months After Rhinoplasty, Currently Having Inflammation

It has been 6 months. I had it done at Wonjin.

Deviated septum + silicone cosmetic rhinoplasty Originally, my snoring was severe, so I was looking into surgery for a deviated septum to fix that, and since my nose was originally curved to the right, I ended up getting correction done at the same time.

I found out after the surgery that they slightly shaved down the nasal bridge and placed silicone on top of it to make it look corrected,, but once the nasal bridge became higher, the crookedness showed even more. Anyway, my progress has continued to be poor after surgery, and I have been suffering from inflammation.

Currently, my nasal bridge is bumpy, the tip of my nose is red, and it hurts when I press it. The amount of discharge inside my nose has decreased, but it still comes out little by little.

Wonjin says that for now, I should have the silicone removed, treat the inflammation, then monitor the progress and likely have revision surgery.

Inflammation treatment and silicone removal do seem essential... but I don’t want to do it at Wonjin, so I’m looking into other hospitals.

Since they shaved down my nasal bridge, I’m worried that if the silicone is removed, my nasal tip will lift up and the nasal bridge will become much lower.
