At the place where I had surgery before, they didn’t properly operate on my dorsal hump, so this time I got diagnosed again from the beginning by Director Kang Min-gyu at TS and had revision surgery for a hump nose. I heard Director Kang Min-gyu is famous for nose revision and contracture, and maybe because he’s a doctor known for difficult noses, he immediately figured out what the problem was. I was a little greedy about the nasal tip, and since I was getting revision surgery, I wanted to use sturdy material, so I went in thinking about autologous costal cartilage. Director Kang explained all the pros and cons of each material and also gave his opinion, so the back-and-forth went really well. The autologous costal cartilage scar is much smaller than at other clinics, and because the surgery was done with a minimal incision, recovery was really fast. The scar is also small enough that as long as I take good care of it, it won’t bother me!!! Now it’s so clean that I can’t even tell where the dorsal hump used to be, and the nasal tip has gone up in a naturally glamorous way, so I feel so good every time I look at my nose.
