Hello~ It feels like it hasn’t been that long since surgery, but already more than half a year has flown by~ I’ve been active in a community during that time too, but this is my first time greeting you with review photos.
First, before the surgical review, the photos come first~ My face had many angles and my bones were quite large, so every time I took photos or tied my hair up, I worried about it a lot. When I got stressed at work, I would clench my teeth and tense my jaw, so my jaw kept becoming more developed. As Botox started to no longer be enough, I looked into jaw muscle resection, and because long-curve square jaw surgery could refine the facial contour and also include muscle resection, I decided on long-curve square jaw surgery. At every hospital where I had a preoperative consultation, I was told that my cheekbones were larger than my jaw and that I was in a situation where surgery was needed, so in the end I decided on long-curve square jaw surgery + cheekbone surgery.
Next, at about one week and three weeks after surgery, the swelling still hadn’t gone down, so my cheeks were puffy, but I was happy to see in the photos that the contour was already showing~
Even around 2 months after surgery, the swelling had gone down and my face had become much slimmer, but looking at the photo album now, my cheeks still had swelling, so they look rounded~
The last photo was on the day I reached 6 months. To be honest, I was pregnant, so my body was swollen and I wasn’t at my best, but my facial line was still refined, and I could see that my face shape had changed smoothly from cheekbones to jaw. I was even able to try a high bun lol, which I had never attempted before surgery~ Sometimes my habit of clenching my jaw strongly remains, so if I sleep while clenching my teeth all night, I do feel like the muscles around my cheeks get tight, but it loosens right away when I apply warm compresses, and I have no discomfort opening my mouth or in daily life~
After I posted my surgical review, many people asked why I chose the hospital and asked for hospital information~ I had my surgery at Taco Plastic Surgery Clinic in Sinnonhyeon. When I visited for the consultation, I liked the friendly atmosphere of the clinic, and through a confident consultation with the head director, I decided on the surgery. Since there was still quite a bit of time after deciding on the surgery, I searched online and found that they do not perform surgery on more than a set number of people per day, and while looking through their blog, Instagram, and so on, I also liked that I could learn detailed surgical information, so I proceeded with surgery without changing my mind~ Also, I needed to be hospitalized on the day of surgery, and from the moment I woke up from anesthesia, I was so grateful that the nurse stayed with me without showing any discomfort. I remember her a lot too. Because I was on IV fluids, I went to the bathroom very often. All through the early morning... even if I moved just a little, she helped me. The postoperative care was also handled well, so I think it was perfect for someone like me who is not meticulous with self-care. When I went for my 4-month checkup, they had moved the clinic from its original location to the building across the street, so I visited there, and it was cleaner and nicer. If you ask whether I recommend the surgery, I highly recommend it~^^
