Eye Surgery Considerations

Siseon community review

The hook shape at the inner corners of my eyes was severe, so I felt like it made me look tired, and aesthetically I didn’t like it either. On top of that, not only the hook shape but also the lacrimal caruncle size was uneven, so it bothered me. I wondered if restoration could fix it, so I went for consultations at hospitals specializing in restoration. I didn’t want my eyes to get smaller, so I went to consultations at places good at micro-restoration, but here, after listening to what I said, they told me it would be better to do hook canthoplasty rather than restoration. They said the hook shape could be improved while adjusting the asymmetry in lacrimal caruncle size. However, they said the lacrimal caruncle could show more than it does now, but that was much better than my eyes getting smaller, and the fact that they told me even these negative things felt honest, so I trusted them. After surgery, it actually seemed even more uneven and I was anxious that the surgery had gone wrong, but the consultant kept explaining in detail why it had become like that and told me how to manage it, so I felt like they were paying attention to me. Now all the things that bothered me have improved, and the hook shape is gone, so my eyes look more open, which I really like.
