The bruising and swelling seem to be almost gone, so I’ll write a review. For the photos, I retouched them with a filter because of my pores, and I swear I didn’t touch anything else! I zoomed in only on my nose to show it’s not just makeup, so beware of nose photos^^
My original nose was a hump nose and long nose! At first glance, I didn’t think it was an ugly nose, but I really hated how it drooped when I smiled, so I got surgery! I heard long noses and hump noses are hard to improve, but even a Squidward nose can become straight-sloped!!
Nose I wanted: no pointy tip, make the midface look shorter Lift it only enough so the nostrils absolutely don’t show
Surgical method: shaved the hump and did slight osteotomy Used septal cartilage and lifted only the nasal tip! (No nasal bridge)
Cost: mid-to-late 3 million KRW range. This is just my personal thought, but long noses and hump noses seem to cost a bit more.. I think it’s a rather tricky surgery (something I heard at every clinic)
Pain: after surgery, it really didn’t hurt.. seriously.. There was barely any bleeding! I don’t know if this was the doctor’s skill or my constitution! If anything, my ear aches a bit like I got a piercing.
Daily life: I had my splint removed on day 7 and went straight back to work! I bruise easily to begin with ㅠㅠ so except for the bruising from the osteotomy area, it was okay. But I’m still washing my face very carefully.
Anyway, nose surgery is known for having so many stories and possible issues, so I worried a lot before deciding.. Even until the day before surgery, I thought, is this really right..? But instead, I did thorough online research and in-person consultations and found peace of mind, so if everyone is worried about nose surgery, I recommend first looking carefully and getting consultations!!!
