I had my first surgery 10 years ago with silicone + ear cartilage and lived without any particular problems, but starting a few years ago, the ear cartilage at my nasal tip gradually began to protrude ㅠㅠ It started showing through in a round shape, so I began looking into revision surgery.
Then I became interested in autologous dermis surgery, referred to other people's reviews, and the hospital (Apgujeong ㅂㄴ) gave me a detailed consultation, so I decided on revision surgery. Since reviews were also very helpful to me, I'm leaving a review after revision surgery ~^^
I had surgery in September 2019, so it has now been a little over 4 months~ Once I got through the early Avatar period well, and as long as I was careful with the buttock scar when moving, there wasn't anything in particular to worry about afterward lol The height is still a bit high, but if it lowers a little more from here, I think I'll like it exactly haha My midface is long, and I felt a high nose wouldn't suit my face itself, so I had the starting point placed low. Because of that, I think it became a natural height sooner than for people who placed the starting point high.
I was also scared of implant side effects.. (Of course, I didn't have any silicone-related side effects for 10 years^^:) and I never wanted to have revision surgery again, so I chose autologous dermis as the material for the revision surgery. I wanted only a slight increase from my existing nose(?), so previously I had put in about 3 mm of silicone as well~ As I get older, I feel that feeling at ease and looking natural is best, so after a long time thinking it over, I decided on revision surgery.
