Before <before surgery> Before <before surgery 2> <12 days after surgery!> <43 days after surgery> <most recent> Ever since I was young, my lower face was a bit different from other people’s. As time passed, my pronunciation would leak when I spoke, and it stood out a bit when I smiled, so I had a serious complex about it. When my mouth was closed it was okay, but when I talked or smiled, the open bite was especially obvious. I tried to improve the lower-face issue with square jaw Botox or facial contour injections, and there may have been some external improvement, but this was a functional problem, so it didn’t work… So recently the timing was just right, and I finally went through with the surgery I had only vaguely been thinking about ><
Before surgery, I really hated being photographed with the rear camera and didn’t take many selfies either, but after surgery, whenever I go somewhere pretty, I’m busy taking photos haha. I’m also happy because I’ve been getting lots of compliments that I look cuter and prettier^~^ I’m in orthodontic treatment now, and I also cut my hair into the sharp bob I’ve always liked. Before, people said I looked like Willy Wonka, but now I don’t hear that anymore, so I like it!! Now I don’t have to spend small amounts of money on Botox or fillers at dermatology clinics to compensate for my face shape, so that’s nice too haha. My self-esteem has definitely gotten much higher than before.
People around me all say the surgery turned out really well too!! There’s no need to be swayed by what others say, but still, the reactions have been positive, so there’s been nothing to break my mentality, and I’m doing well haha.
