Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews@jaw-review

3-month review after double-jaw surgery + V-line surgery haha

It’s been a little over 3 months since I had surgery. Right now, I’m undergoing orthodontic treatment!! haha   Malocclusion, a protruding lower jaw, and facial asymmetry were such big complexes for me, so after a lot of thought, I decided to get double-jaw surgery. Before surgery, I hated it so much when people saw my side profile that I kept covering it with my hair whenever I went out.   Before getting surgery, I looked around on a lot of different sites and researched a ton. After searching around like that, I ultimately had it done at an oral and maxillofacial clinic.   Honestly, right now there’s no interference with my daily life at all. It’s to the point that I forget I even had surgery. The orthodontic treatment is a bit uncomfortable, but still, when I look in the mirror, I think I chose the hospital well haha   What’s especially nice is that at every follow-up check, they take bone X-rays and compare them, and they said my recovery went well and the result is good, so I feel reassured and satisfied!! ㅠㅠ   I was a bit worried because I had surgery when it was hot, but luckily there haven’t been any issues >_< Even my boyfriend, who had tried the hardest to stop me after seeing me get surgery, went in for a consultation this time haha   Now that it’s been over 3 months, I can eat meat, and even things like squid and beef jerky are no problem. A lot of the swelling has gone down, so my face looks a bit slimmer now, but I actually thought I looked pretty okay even during the hamster phase, so now that it’s gone, I feel a tiny bit sad haha   From now on, if I just keep going diligently for orthodontic treatment once a month, I think it’ll get even better!!
