Please think of this simply as an evaluation of the consultation experience, separate from the surgery experience.
I think I have a difficult nose because of a sunken columella and insufficient skin. That doesn't mean it's so bad that life is difficult because of it, and there is a lot of scar tissue inside my nose and some deviation, but not to the point of functional impairment where I can't breathe.
Siwoo Plastic Surgery was the first hospital on my list of consultation places for a fourth revision nose surgery that I stopped by when I had a trip to Seoul.
The answer, "Just live with it," isn't that strange. = I now realize it is the same as saying it isn't easy and even if you do it, there won't be a big change.
The reason I rated it like above was not because I doubted Siwoo's ability,
but because a nose like mine, with these difficulties, already has a low expectation for surgery from the start. My judgment of the doctor's consultation expertise was because the explanation during the consultation felt a little lacking, and because the level of detail felt short of what you would expect for a 30,000 won consultation fee. That does not necessarily mean the doctor's surgical skill is the same, and I hope everyone understands that..
As for the staff's kindness, I think they were just average, no more and no less than the coordinators at dermatology and plastic surgery clinics these days. I think of them as just 안내봇, not belonging to either the unpleasant or the nice side.
