They strongly recommended revision surgery using donated costal cartilage.. Even though I said I had no intention of using donated costal cartilage because of absorption, they said donated costal cartilage would be better than leaving a permanent scar on the bodies of young women(?) They said absorption is not an issue because they use good donated costal cartilage. But even just looking at this community, there are many people who had surgery with donated costal cartilage and experienced absorption, so I was a bit doubtful.
I had issues with an upturned nose / alar-columellar imbalance, but they said they do not perform nostril-lowering surgery at all because it makes the nose stiff. This part was helpful when I consulted other hospitals.
