They strongly recommended revision surgery with donated costal cartilage.. Even though I said I had no intention of using donated costal cartilage because of absorption, they said donated costal cartilage is better than leaving permanent scars on the bodies of young women(?) They said absorption is not an issue because they use good donated costal cartilage.. But even just looking at this community, there are many people whose donated costal cartilage was absorbed after surgery, so I was a bit doubtful.
I had issues with an upturned nose/dragon nose, but they said they do not perform nostril lowering surgery at all because it makes the nose stiff. This part was helpful when I had consultations at other hospitals.
