Eye Surgery Considerations

Consultation review

Appointment with Director Kang at 1, arrived at 1, came out at 2 I went in and barely waited before having a consultation with the consultant. The consultant’s consultation didn’t feel highly professional, but it was brief and kind, so I liked it. She also didn’t draw a line for me. It seemed better than places where the consultant acts like the director, draws the line, and excessively does even the consultation the director should be doing. It also didn’t feel like there was irritation showing behind fake kindness like a character from RalRal, so it was comfortable. The consultant’s consultation ended quickly and she left. At 1:12, I was told the director’s surgery was being delayed due to a hemostasis issue, so the director’s consultation would be delayed by about 10 minutes, and he came after about 20 minutes.

The director drew the line really many times. While touching around my eyes, I think he drew it about 20 times in total. But mostly he looked at it himself, and there weren’t many times when I saw it in the mirror. I wasn’t expecting much from the line either, but I was surprised because he drew it prettily. It was actually much prettier than the hospital I had previously gone to with very high expectations.. At the previous hospital, they didn’t draw the line many times to begin with, and among the lines they did draw, there wasn’t really any line I liked. And then they said that was the best option, which bothered me a bit.. He recommended buried suture double eyelid surgery, and said that if I only wanted one eye, he could remove fat at the outer end of the eye, but it would be a shame to make an incision on eyes like mine, so “is it really necessary?” I also liked that he kept asking if I had more questions. I wondered if this was the difference from a 10,000 won consultation fee.. I also felt the aftercare was good, because they said here the director definitely checks the progress, and I think they said he would keep taking good care of me even several years after surgery. But I already put down a deposit somewhere else, so I don’t think I’ll do it here.. Objectively, though, in terms of waiting time, consultation price, and aftercare, this place seems to win by far.. Still, I’m planning to trust the skill of the director at the place where I decided to have surgery. I recommend coming for a consultation here.
