Back when it was Konopi, I ended up getting nose surgery from an otolaryngology specialist while also planning to have rhinitis surgery. At the time, without any review event or anything like that, it was 3.5 million won with a same-day reservation discount, and the amount that could be claimed through private insurance for the rhinitis surgery was about 1 million won. In the end, I regret having surgery here. During the consultation, unlike other hospitals, they only recommended septoplasty for the rhinitis surgery, so it seemed like they weren’t overtreating, and they said it was a hospital specializing in revision surgery, so I chose this hospital. During the consultation, they just checked inside my nose by eye, and I thought that was the attitude of an expert. They did not do an in-depth consultation. Maybe because of that, during surgery they didn’t check that I had requested only 1-2 mm for the nasal tip during the consultation, and instead made it in the design they had originally recommended, so I ended up with an upturned nose. Right after surgery, when I had just woken up from anesthesia, they said they had raised it by 3.5 mm, so I was flustered. Still, I thought it would get better with time, but for 3 months the upturned nose and uneven nostrils were so severe that I suffered emotionally a lot. The doctor said the swelling would go down a lot in 2 weeks, but even after several weeks the swelling did not go down. When I complained, a staff member also said in passing that it seemed like the director had made a mistake, while the director only kept repeating that it looked fine to their eyes, and the attitude was basically that if I really didn’t like it, I should have revision surgery. Now, with time, the swelling has completely gone down, but only the tip is raised like Pinocchio, so it has become another complex. The nostrils have also reduced a lot compared with the beginning, but they are still a complex. This was my first cosmetic surgery, and because it failed, I don’t feel like getting revision surgery, let alone any other surgery. When I touch the part where the dorsal hump was shaved down, I can feel exactly where it was scraped flat. Also, when I had sleep anesthesia, this was the only hospital where they couldn’t place the injection properly, so they injected the other arm. My skin is fair and thin, and I had never experienced a failed injection before... Even before surgery, the consultation manager mistakenly thought septal deviation correction was not covered by insurance and then changed their words, so the staff also seemed sloppy. For reference, even without any review-writing discount, they freely show photos of other patients without mosaic blurring, so you have to give up your portrait rights.
