The hospital facilities are really on the level of a neighborhood ENT clinic. I was already shocked by the chairs in the lobby that looked about 10 years old, but when I saw the treatment machine in the director’s consultation room that also looked about 10 years old, I was internally horrified. There were a lot of people in that strange lobby;;; But the consultation was much more detailed and kind than at any other hospital. It was Director Kang Joo-yong, and he explained the functional aspects in great detail, and kindly and calmly explained why he recommended that surgery, the surgical method, side effects, and so on. But aesthetically, it did not feel very refined, and because he prioritizes safety, it felt like he spoke very conservatively. It would be my first surgery, and he mentioned ear cartilage, but when I said other hospitals had all recommended autologous costal cartilage, he said that actually he would also like to do it with autologous costal cartilage, but since it was my first surgery, he thought I might be reluctant, so he did not easily recommend it He said out loud that he really, really hates revision surgery. I got the feeling that he would do his very best to operate with stability. Recommended if you want a natural, stable surgery and a detailed consultation. But if aesthetics are your top priority, I would not really recommend it!
The consultation manager only talked about the necessary parts, and I did not particularly feel that she was unfriendly or exceptionally friendly. There was no pressure to book on the same day, and the review discount was not that large! The estimate includes the review discount, and compared with other hospitals, the price assigned to the functional nose surgery portion is very high.
