Eye Surgery Considerations

Review from a Community

I went for a consultation without implants. The director was blunt, just as I’d heard.. He even seemed a little fed up. The director’s attitude made it hard to feel comfortable asking questions. As soon as I went in, he didn’t even greet me and just told me informally to sit here; of course, since I’m young, maybe that can happen, but it didn’t feel good. The consultation was very conservative. He didn’t say things like this point would definitely improve, and he talked a lot about what could be lost after surgery, both aesthetically and functionally, and said he wouldn’t provide after-service for those things (I didn’t bring up after-service). I understand that he probably wants to reduce complaints about the results later, but from the perspective of a patient who went in for a consultation, I felt like there were more downsides than benefits, and it felt like I was being treated as a potential difficult patient(?).. I got the feeling that I didn’t know why I should pay this money to have surgery here. The result photos are okay, but.. wouldn’t there be other decent clinics? The consultant was kind and seemed proud of the surgical results. However, after the director’s consultation, I wish she had told me the price and necessary details right away, but it felt like she was trying to force rapport. They said they don’t take a CT, and that they check the nasal septum once you enter the operating room. Consultation fee was 10,000 won
