A few years ago, my jaw asymmetry bothered me, so I went for a jaw consultation. Back then there either wasn’t a consultation fee, or I think it was around 10,000 to 20,000 won, but now it’s 50,000 won.
If I were to do my jaw, I wanted it done with cortical osteotomy/contouring, and because they had many cases improving asymmetry... Honestly, I didn’t like the hospital’s preferred? result lines, but I went anyway. (I prefer leaving some angle and like a slight U-V line, but this place seems to pursue a soft curved line for both the angle and chin tip.)
As in the consultation, the director was nice, and although I have jaw asymmetry, both sides are subtly(??) crooked, so it doesn’t show, and he told me not to do it. Also, he advised against it again, saying my jawline is indistinct and it would become even more indistinct And instead, he told me to do my cheekbones.. He recommended cheekbone surgery, saying I would see a good effect. It’s been a long time, so I don’t remember well, but it was a good consultation because he was cheerful, honest, and pointed out the problems well! At the end, though, I remember he said, “But... if you did the jaw too, I think you’d probably become prettier... just think about it first,”
So I’m seriously agonizing over whether to do only the cheekbones or, since I’m going under anyway, do the cheekbones and jaw together
Oh, for the price, it’s honestly been so long that I don’t remember But I think it was roughly around that much. I want to go again to hear another explanation about the cheekbones, but if the re-consultation fee is also 50,000 won, that’s a bit burdensome, so I’m debating whether to go or not.
